Butlers' Dormitory

You crack open the door and enter the room. Pitch black as always. Without this lantern then exploration of this place would be nigh impossible. Searching with nothing but your sense of touch in the dark would have been a nightmare. You are grateful for the lantern having made this search this much more pleasant. You explore the room.

Rows and rows of beds, organized by columns fill up the whole room. There are drawers next to each one and there is nothing else in the room aside from those same two pieces of furniture. There are no wall decorations, no statues, no carpet, not a single potted plant, not even a window. You walk around the room and look around, not particularly searching for anything specific. You check a few of the drawers but there is usually nothing more than some spare change. You even lie in one of the beds to rest for a bit but the bed is so hard and bumpy that it is more comfortable to jump lay on the floor instead.

You roam around for another few minutes and check some more drawers but it is the same story repeated. In the end, you give up midway through the room and just check the first few drawers and beds on the other end to see if they have anything. Once you find that there is nothing there either, you shake your head and leave the room in pure disappointment.
