She can’t remember anything else.
Her face of devastation seems to have made the sailor realize the situation as the man sighs and walks closer to the edge of his boat.
“All right, little girl. Looks like you’re in bigger trouble than I thought. Tell you what, I’ll take you to Silvercove town’s Child Care Center and see if they can help you properly.”
“Oh…,” Harley responds, her heart sinking at the idea.
“I’m sure you’ll be much better off there than ‘ere, yeah?”
“Uhm…yes! Thank you, sir,” Harley smiles.
“Well then, hop on already. I don’t wanna be ‘ere any longer than I need to.”
Harley walks up to his boat, clumsily reaching her hands to the edge to try and climb her way in. The sailor sighs and reaches out his hand to help her settle in.
Harley takes a seat at one end of the boat and the sailor reeves up the boat’s engine with loud roar. The boat starts to move, slowly drifting away from the harbor.
