Eclipse and her best friend, Nathan learn of the controller of darkness, Umbra and his ultimate plan to plunge the entire city into eternal darkness using a device powered by the same crystal energy that gave her mutant abilities. Determined to stop Umbra, she must infiltrate the villain's lair, an underground bunker fortified with dark energy.
Nathan begins to layout a plan for Eclipse so that defeating Umbra can go smoothly as possible and that no harm is done to their home. In order to stop Umbra, she must infiltrate the villain's lair, an underground bunker fortified with dark energy and filled with other villains. Thinking this is a crazy idea,Eclipse attempts to back out but Nathan says that this is the only way and assures her that she can do anything if she sets her responsibilites straight. He kisses her on the cheek and wishes her good luck on the mission.
