In the climactic battle, Eclipse and his allies struggle against Umbra's overwhelming darkness. Despite their best efforts, Umbra's dark energy device nears full activation. Determined to save the city, she pushes her powers to the limit.
In a critical moment, Eclipse attempts to merge light and darkness to counter Umbra, but she miscalculates the energy balance. The resulting explosion is catastrophic. While it temporarily disrupts Umbra's device, the backlash severely injures Eclipse, which result damage to her gear and losing communication with Nathan.
Umbra seizes the opportunity to overpower Eclipse, shattering her confidence and spirit. With his device back online, Umbra plunges the city into eternal darkness. The once-vibrant metropolis falls into chaos and despair, ruled by fear and shadow.
Amaya, broken and powerless, retreats into hiding along with Nathan. The citizens, once hopeful, are left to fend for themselves in a world devoid of light. Umbra's reign of terror solidifies, and the legacy of Eclipse fades into a cautionary tale of failure and lost potential. Amaya is haunted by the knowledge that she couldn't save her city and must live with the consequences of her defeat.
