Entry one: On Liria

Lae Liria, colloquially known as simply Liria, is a grand citadel located on the outskirts of the Iyonian capital: Cinissa. Though no scholar has discovered how it came to be, it is widely rumored to hold powerful artifacts, forgotten knowledge, and magic beyond the scope of what most believe possible. Its doors remained sealed shut for centuries until today. A great surge of magic sent shockwaves through the city that shook the surrounding lands. It toppled buildings otherwise thought stable, injuring unwary Iyonians in its wake.

What was once thought lost to history after the Celestial Purge now captures the attention of scholars, adventurers, and arcane seekers alike. Naturally, some seek to raid it for their own benefit; but others endeavor to rid it completely, harboring hatred for whatever is within its walls that caused the marring of Cinissa.
