Meet the founder, John Doe. He was born into the Land of Animation as a boy with no color or detail. Ever since he was young, he hated how much emphasis was put into appearance. Those who were created with more effort put into them were more likely to be chosen as main characters. Their quality of life was so different from those who were born with nothing.
John gathered all of the people who were mistreated like he was and started a rebellion which eventually became known as the Animation War. After his great victory, John established the World of No Effort. Everyone would be stripped to their barest state in an attempt to establish a more utopian society. He believed that effort created inequality and chose to remove color and as much detail as he could from this world.
